Let the members at the Community Printshop at AS220 Industries guide you through several low-key and fun printing projects in a relaxed environment. Discover the processes of silkscreen, etching, offset printing, and letterpress printing!

Hang out, socialize, and learn from the welcoming members of the Printshop! Drinks, courtesy of our friends at Bottles Fine Wine, and food are provided with price of admission!

We are pleased to present Artist in Residence, Allison Bianco!

Drink + Ink Artist in Residence Allison Bianco printing. 

Allison Bianco is a printmaker who uses a combination of intaglio and screen print to depict landscapes diminished by massive oceans and infinite skies. Her vibrant prints explore nostalgia and inconsistencies of memory.

Allison Bianco received her MFA in Printmaking (2010) from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, Honolulu, HI and her BA in Studio Art (2001) from Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, MA.

Bianco is the recipient of a 2019 RISCA Project Grant to complete a project entitled Rhode Island's Biggest Printing Press at the AS220 Community Printshop. Her work was selected for a solo exhibition at The Print Center in Philadelphia as part of their 88th International Competition. Her work is in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA; Philadelphia Museum of Art, PA; The New York Public Library, NY; RISD Museum, RI; Yale University Art Gallery, CT; and the Hawai'i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, HI; among others. Allison Bianco lives and works in Rhode Island and her work is represented by Cade Tompkins Projects in Providence, RI.

Drink & Ink is presented by AS220 in partnership with Bottles Fine Wine, Providence RI, and Paper Connection International

Tickets are non-refundable two weeks before the event, you can, however, transfer your ticket to another attendee. All requests for transfer of tickets must be made at least 48 hours prior to event date. Tickets cannot be transferred to another Drink+Ink date.
